Investigating again, he loves buttons and flashing lights
The photos were taken with a Lensbaby, it's a selective focus lens so you've got a point of focus and everything blurs away from that point. You can move the point around and it's also manual focus, so it's tough to nail the focus on the eyes if you are doing a portrait. The pics look really good black and white though.

This was an autumn portrait shoot at Keston Woods, somewhere, I'm ashamed to say, I'd never been to before, despite living only 10 minutes down the road.

When working with kids it's a challenge to keep them entertained, it's great to be able to go out and work with them in a environment that's not only stimulating for them for us too. Leaves to kick, logs to jump off, it was great fun.
